After graduating with an MA from Edinburgh University, he worked for a multinational in Hong Kong. iona hamilton
Consultant and EIR Manager
Iona joined Clear Public Space in 2018 and manages the Environmental Impact Reviews for clients.
After graduating with an MA from Edinburgh University, she worked in political lobbying, in Parliament and as a financial journalist. In 2004 she joined a political risk firm, working on corporate investigations into companies, looking at both illegalities such as fraud and corruption, but also at ethical issues, from the disposal of toxic waste to the displacement of indigenous peoples to the sourcing of non-sustainable materials. The majority of these investigations were done for financial services clients giving her the wealth of experience to tackle difficulties involved for ESG teams in the verification of information from companies claiming to put environmental protection and sustainability at the forefront of their operations.
Iona brings a practical determination to helping clients become more sustainable and reduce their waste, and strongly believes that even the smallest changes can have a ripple effect.
