BEHAVIOURAL CHANGE IS IMPORTANT TO ACHIEVE NET-ZERO EMISSIONS
On the morning of Tuesday, 12th May 2020 in Central London we will be with Lord Deben, the Chair of the Committee on Climate Change to discover more on encouraging behavioural change for achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 - the landmark target for the UK government and economy. The CBI will be presenting, and Jo Coleman from Shell.
We will learn more on policy frameworks and collaboration, and actual decarbonisation schemes.
We believe that farmers and landowners will be rewarded for reducing carbon emissions, in the forthcoming Agriculture Bill and we will find out how, exactly.
All of these things (and more) we will discover at Westminster Energy, Environment & Transport Forum’s “Achieving net-zero emissions by 2050” which is at @WEETFEvents and it is CPD certified.
The venue will be confirmed shortly.
With the new government retaining environmental protection and emissions abatement as a priority, we will consider options for developing economy-wide strategies for decarbonisation. It is important to know what is required from government and industry.
